The Safehouse Publishing, a division of Safehouse Records, has partnered with Universal Music Publishing Group.
The two companies will work on joint venture, which is when two companies come together for a common activity for a certain period - as the release albums and singles.
This gives even more power to the label of the duo, which also has a joint venture with Island Records.

The partnership allows, for example, that the albums released by Safehouse is distributed by Universal in other countries. It is as with Hollywood Records (Disney), who arrives in Brazil via Universal Music.

Demi and Nick announced the first signing of the seal - which previously only had themselves in casting. It is Chord Overstreet, actor-singer who played the character Sam Evans on "Glee" series. As Demi and Nick, he has as an entrepreneur Phil McIntyre, who is now partner of the Roc Nation.
Thus, Chord has all the framework for advancing their careers.
